Filò de Nadale
In times past, the term “filò” was used for the evening gathering of neighbors or friends in the stables, where, in cold and very cold times they would spend the evenings hanging out together chatting or listening to some small village gossip or doing small chores, but mostly warming themselves with the warmth of the livestock.
Here it is that with this sense of getting together, the Pro Loco of Pieve Tesino together with the municipality have thought of calling this event “Filò de Nadale.”
The getting together to spend an evening of lightheartedness and good food chatting among villagers and others.
This event is divided into three evenings, Dec. 23 and 29 and Jan. 5 where we can find five little houses at the North Square of the elementary schools, run every night by different associations in the village.
Each association prepares a dish between the first course, second course, dessert and hot and cold drinks. All under a fantastic starry sky of Christmas lights.
Each evening will be enlivened by musical events
On December 23, Santa Claus will also be there!
